With this script you'll be able to create a catenary rig with just a click.

Instructions

1. Drag the python script into Maya's script editor
2. Select the curves that you want to rig
3. Launch the script
4. Enjoy!

You can find the math here and make your own if you want to!

It uses as little as 5 iterations, so it's super duper fast (thanks to Marty Cohen).
